Hannes Cizek is Head of Group Strategy & Innovation at Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) and responsible for the group-wide strategy, digital transformation and innovation programs of RBI in Central and Eastern Europe.

Since May 2018 he is also Managing Director of RBI’s Corporate VC company „Elevator Ventures“ which focuses on strategic direct investments in later-stage fintechs and co-investments with partner investors. “Elevator Ventures” cooperates closely with the largest fintech partnership program in CEE “Elevator Lab” which was launched by RBI in June 2017. The program supports exceptional start-ups with proven innovative fintech products and technologies and enables their international growth in a structured and effective way.

In addition Hannes Cizek is a Fintech Advisory Board Member of the Austrian Ministry of Finance and a frequent speaker at a variety of international conferences in digital banking and financial services.

Prior to his position as Head of Group Strategy & Innovation he was Head of Group Digital Banking, Executive Assistant to the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International and held various functions in retail and commercial banking of Raiffeisen since 2009.

Hannes Cizek brings almost 10 years of banking experience with strong expertise in digital transformation, corporate strategy, corporate finance and innovation management.
