Zach Perret is CEO and co-founder of Plaid, the technology platform that connects financial applications and users' bank accounts. After learning how difficult it was to build a secure personal finance application, Zach and his co-founder started Plaid in 2012 to lower the barriers to entry into financial services by making it easier and safer to use financial data. To date, one in four people with U.S. bank accounts have used Plaid to connect to a financial services application. This year, Plaid was named a Forbes Fintech 50 company and a Most Innovative Company by Fast Company.
